I was VERY surprised when I unwrapped these cute bibs! They have a very sturdy snap in the back. This is important because as an owner of a daycare the Velcro bibs wear out really fast and the kids often just pull the bibs off. With the snap we don't have that problem. They are good sized and THICK! The cloth in the back is thicker than I expected and will absorb a lot of teething saliva! I haven't washed them yet but I can't see that being an issue. They look and feel sturdy! Love the unique patterns too!
