About the Founder
Little Kims was founded by Christine Kim, a mom and a designer based in New York.
She was inspired to create a modern childrenswear company through her own experience in trying to find cute, stylish, eco-friendly items that fit her design aesthetic for her baby (now little girl) that also aligned with her environmental values.

Little Kims was a result of many years of research, training, and a discovery process of Christine's passions and entrepreneurial ambitions, that culminated with a realization that what she valued most was a love of kids, stylish design, and eco-friendly offerings.

WHY BIBS?
Inspired to create this business because her daughter constantly wore unflattering bibs as a baby, she wanted bibs that would add to a baby’s outfit rather than detract from it.
That’s why Little Kims began with high quality bibs made with certified organic cotton that are comfortable,
absorbent, and stylish, so your little ones can look great wherever they go, while keeping their drool in check. The top organic cotton layer quickly absorbs drool and liquids, while the fleece layer underneath prevents it from going through. Say goodbye to frequent clothing changes and have your baby stay dry in style!
PURSING A DREAM

Christine's career started in the tech space as a java developer and consultant prior to making a career change into user experience. Although she learned a lot from her careers and enjoyed the work she did, her ultimate dream was to move to New York, do something creative, and start her own business creating eco-friendly products.
That opportunity to move to New York came when simultaneously, Christine's husband landed a job in NY and Christine was accepted into Parsons to study fashion design. It was a new and exciting beginning. There was yet one more unexpected career change that lie ahead for her.
After a big move to New York from Chicago, Christine eventually ended up where her passions led her -- to design, fashion, business, and sustainability.

Christine has a Masters in Product Design and Design Planning, an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise, and a degree in Fashion Design. Her love of product design, innovation, sustainability, and fashion has led her to the creation of this company today. We hope you love the products as much as we loved creating them for you!
Christine lives in New York with her husband, daughter, and new baby boy that was born last year!

Thank you for visiting us! We hope you love our products that have been designed with you and your kids in mind!
