We believe in giving back to support causes that are near and dear to our hearts.
Helping Children
We are especially passionate about supporting and helping children, and have partnered with an orphanage in Uganda that really needs our contributions to help provide meals for their 54 kids, pay for school fees, and build a home for these incredible children.
This orphanage was started by one man with
a very big heart...
... a man named Beinomugisha Keneth, who is also an orphan. His parents died when he was 10, and he went through great difficulty during his childhood, being homeless at one point, but was thankfully helped by an elderly man who took him in, and he was able to help him with domestic work.
Starting an Orphanage
Inspired to help other children that were also orphans, Beinomugisha started an orphanage in 2014 with 8 kids who had lost their parents to HIV/Aids.
It has grown since, and now 54 kids are under his care.
Can you imagine feeding 54 kids?
One man. Several part-time helpers. Feeding 54 kids.
I don't know how he does it, but I know it's not easy. That's a lot of mouths to feed.
It's not easy even raising 1 child, or 2. We often wonder how parents are able to handle 3 or 4 children! But 54 kids?

Our hearts really go out to his cause because we know these children really need us.
Once in a while, they are able to improve and vary the diets of the kids with bananas.

A Man with a mission
Beinomugisha has dedicating his life to the children that need him, and trusting God to help him find a way to provide for them.
A Need for a New Home
With only a small house to fit all of these children, Beinomugisha has found the need to begin a project to build two new homes -- one for the girls, and one for the boys -- to alleviate the congested conditions they currently live in.
The Building Has Begun
The construction has started for the girls' home, but they are temporarily on hold until they have more funds to complete the project.
They need constant support to help feed, clothe, educate, and hire help to take care of these children.
Helping Orphans
We have chosen to support this orphanage because our contributions go directly to supporting the needs of the children. We know our donations make a big difference to them as they have limited donors.
A portion of all purchases made at Little Kims goes directly towards feeding, educating, and housing these children! We hope to contribute more and more as our business grows!
